Interviews in Slovenia highlight key challenges and opportunities for transdisciplinary education
As part of the TransInnovate project, 8 in-depth interviews were conducted in Slovenia with experts from higher vocational education. The aim was to explore the current state, challenges, and needs related to integrating Technology, Arts, and Humanities (TAH).
The results show that participants have strong experience in project-based work and collaboration with industry. However, they also face several systemic limitations, including insufficient funding, limited equipment, scheduling constraints, and lack of institutional support.
Despite these challenges, interviewees emphasize the strong potential of transdisciplinary approaches, particularly in developing students’ competencies for addressing complex problems and improving employability.
