Join the Validation Workshop for the TransINNOVATE Transdisciplinary Education Course
Date: 11 June 2026, 10:30–12:00 CEST
Format: Online workshop
Lead facilitator: Tobias Buser
The TransINNOVATE project consortium is pleased to invite educators, programme coordinators, institutional leaders and other interested stakeholders to participate in the upcoming Validation Workshop for the TransINNOVATE Transdisciplinary Education Course.
This interactive online workshop will serve as an important milestone in the development of the course, providing participants with the opportunity to review, discuss and help validate the proposed curriculum structure. Rather than being a standard presentation session, the workshop is designed as a collaborative “stress test” to ensure the course responds effectively to diverse educational contexts and real-world needs.
Why participate?
Participants will:
- gain early access to the TransINNOVATE Transdisciplinary Education Course structure,
- contribute to shaping a course designed for a wide range of users and educational settings,
- provide feedback that will directly influence the final version of the course and its practical relevance for educators and institutions.
The workshop reflects the core philosophy of the TransINNOVATE project: that meaningful innovation emerges through collaboration across disciplines, sectors and perspectives.
Workshop programme
The 90-minute session will combine presentations and interactive discussions, including:
- an introduction to the TransINNOVATE project,
- presentation of the TransINNOVATE Transdisciplinary Education Course,
- breakout room discussions focused on evaluating the course design,
- reporting and reflection on key discussion points,
- concluding questions and outlook.
About the TransINNOVATE Transdisciplinary Education Course
The TransINNOVATE project is developing a modular professional development course focused on transdisciplinary education at the intersection of technology, arts and humanities. The course design builds on:
- an in-depth literature review,
- survey findings,
- expert interviews,
- and the extensive experience of the project partners.
The primary target group includes educators in higher education and higher vocational education and training. A secondary target group consists of institutional leaders, programme managers and coordinators responsible for creating supportive conditions for implementing and sustaining transdisciplinary teaching approaches.
The overall learning objective is strongly practice-oriented: participants will develop the competencies needed to design, facilitate and evaluate transdisciplinary learning experiences, while also gaining a deeper understanding of transdisciplinarity as a concept and educational approach.
The current course structure includes:
- 12 modules,
- three proficiency levels (Know, Apply, Lead),
- and three microcredentials (Basic, Advanced, Leader).
Registration
Participation is free of charge, but registration is available here.
We look forward to welcoming you to the workshop and collaboratively shaping the future of transdisciplinary education.
TransINNOVATE is an Erasmus+ project funded by the European Union.
