TransInnovate Methodology at Focus on the Future 2026 (Hainburg, Austria)
On 16 September 2026, TAH – Centre for Innovations in Technology, Art and Humanities participated in Focus on the Future 2026, an international summit dedicated to the future of higher education, innovation and cross-sector collaboration, held in Hainburg an der Donau, Austria.
The event brought together educators, researchers, innovators and policymakers to discuss future-oriented approaches to learning, artificial intelligence and societal development.
As part of the summit programme, TAH Centre delivered the workshop Before You Lock in the Solution: Choose One Challenge. Test What It Assumes, developed within the Erasmus+ TransInnovate project. The session invited participants to examine emerging projects and ideas through multiple perspectives before key decisions become fixed.
Working in small groups, participants explored real-world challenges using Technology, Arts and Humanities/Social Sciences perspectives together with the AI-supported TAH Prism tool. The workshop focused on identifying hidden assumptions, uncovering blind spots and defining responsible next steps in project development.
The session served as an important validation activity for the TransInnovate project, providing valuable feedback on the project’s transdisciplinary learning methodology and supporting the further development of its educational framework and training programme.
