TRANSINNOVATE: Successful Validation Workshop Conducted

The TransINNOVATE Validation Workshop was successfully held online on 11 June 2026, bringing together experts, educators, and stakeholders from higher vocational and higher education institutions to review and validate the educational framework currently being developed within the project. The workshop represented an important milestone in the development of innovative transdisciplinary learning pathways and micro-credential programmes.

The workshop provided participants with an opportunity to explore the proposed learning pathways and micro-credential structure, which includes a core transdisciplinary programme (Modules 1–10, 2 ECTS), advanced specialised modules (Modules 11–12, 1 ECTS), and a dedicated leadership pathway for principals and management staff (Modules 1 and 12, 1 ECTS).

During the expert discussions, participants reviewed key thematic areas of the programme, including the foundations of transdisciplinarity and methodological approaches, arts-based and embodied learning, learning design and facilitation, monitoring and evaluation, as well as the role of artificial intelligence in transdisciplinary education.

Special attention was given to the proposed hybrid delivery model, which combines online and face-to-face learning, experiential and collaborative activities, reflective practice, and mentoring in small learning groups. This approach is designed to ensure flexibility, engagement, and meaningful knowledge exchange among participants.

The primary objective of the workshop was to validate the proposed educational framework and support the development of high-quality, innovative, and transferable learning pathways that strengthen transdisciplinary competences for addressing complex societal and technological challenges.

Through this activity, the TransINNOVATE project continues to advance a modern, flexible, and learner-centred educational framework based on collaboration across disciplines, sectors, and learning environments.
